Stage 2 is experiencing unprecedented growth.  As such, we are adding a seasoned Channel Manager to our team.

Position Overview:
The Sales Channel Manager will expand relationships, win new customers and achieve sales targets in the NYC metro market. The right candidate will enjoy a fast paced and fun work environment with a ton of freedom and growth potential.

The Sales Channel Manager is responsible for developing a book of partners in the IT and Telecom industries from the ground up and helping them to generate revenue for Stage 2 Networks. Overall responsibility is to recruit, train, develop relationships, and drive partners to generate revenue through selling top tier voice and data services. Ongoing tasks include:

  • Identifying potential partners and recruiting new partners
  • Training new and existing partners
  • Contract negotiations
  • Partner process management, order management, issue resolution, funnel management, forecasting, partner/company liaison, assisting partners in sales efforts, etc
  • Developing new business relationships with targeted leads provided by company
  • Prospecting targeted leads to set appointments to present Stage 2 Networks products & services with a strong emphasis on Hosted/Cloud based products
  • Obtaining signed service contracts from new customers in effort to meet and/or exceed all quotas
  • Managing and maintaining CRM database for all prospect information to 100% accuracy
  • Providing management team with accurate forecast, funnel and all additional required activity/sales metrics
  • Attending weekly meetings, trainings and coaching sessions with Sales Director


  • Strong interpersonal, communication, issue resolution, relationship management and negotiating skills
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • 2 + years sales experience (preferably in telecom, IT, or software)
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university
  • Strong relationship building, presentation & closing skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas
