New York, NY (January 17, 2012) - Stage 2 Networks, a cloud communications leader in the New York metropolitan area with a portfolio of hosted voice and data services, today announced the appointment of Matt Kessler as Vice President of Business Development.
Mr. Kessler will be responsible for building strategic alliances that will optimize Stage 2’s core hosted VoIP and cloud communications business, extend and maintain the company’s partner program through recruitment and relationship building efforts, and driving the company’s revenue growth efforts in both the channel and wholesale services areas.

Mr. Kessler served in the Marine Corps as a corporal from 1994 to 1998 and was stationed around the country and in Japan. It was in the Marines that he was first introduced to the field of telecommunications working on various microwave and satellite communications projects. Since his return to civic duty, Mr. Kessler has held several operations management positions, including 3 years with On-Site Access where he managed Field Operations. Prior to joining Stage 2, Mr. Kessler was Manager of Network Operations and Customer Engineering at Eureka Networks.
